New Player Information
Welcome to the courts! Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the country for active seniors, with good reason. The court is the size of a badminton court, or 1/4 the size of a tennis court. The only equipment needed is a paddle, a pickleball (similar to a wiffle ball), court shoes, a hat, sunglasses, and comfortable athletic clothing. Pickleball has its own unique shots, strategy, court position, swing mechanics, and paddle grip pressure, which are different from other racquet sports. We invite you to learn the sport at our beginners classes, skills clinics, and practice sessions. |
